MOVE Motor robot features include drawing, obstacle avoidance, drawing, and servo ports

The Kitronik :MOVE Motor robot is now available in Australia! It's a micro:bit powered robot, that is both manoeuvrable and stable - with centre-mounted grippy wheels and low centre of gravity thanks to the 4x AA batteries mounted underneath. The built-in ultrasonic sensor is located behind the edge of the main board, to protect it from bumps while find-tuning the code. Multi-coloured LEDs, a buzzer, and line-following sensors are mounted underneath, too. There's even a hole to pop a pen in for making your robot draw!

In addition to the well-written instruction booklet, here's some downloadable tutorials with Interactive MakeCode links to get you started:

If you're keen on learning some Python, the :MOVE Motor can be programmed in Python by importing the example library here. There's also headers to plug in some servos for creating your own add-ons!

You can get the :MOVE Motor robot here, and the BBC micro:bit here.
